Trim Out

Trim-out refers to the installation of the speakers, wall plates, touch panels, security peripherals, and all of the mounted hardware. Retrofit projects will usually combine both the pre-wire and trim-out phases concurrently.

For remodel or a new construction, this phase usually takes place after the
walls are painted.
